Dr. Trent Fugere was born in Glendive, Montana. He moved to Ankeny, Iowa at 13 years old. Dr. Trent graduated from Ankeny High School in 1985. He then attended Des Moines Area Community College, Iowa State University before graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1995 with his Chiropractic degree.
In 1996, Dr. Trent opened his first clinic in Perry, Fugere Chiropractic Center. He practiced at that location full time from 1996-2003. In 2003 he relocated to his clinic to Clive and opened Country Club Chiropractic. Dr. Trent was the first chiropractor to become a Certified Independent Chiropractic Examiner in the State of Iowa. He was certified in the 5th and 6th editions of impairment ratings using the International Guidelines for Impairment Ratings.
On 02/20/2017 he moved to a new office location with more space and renamed it Waukee Chiropractic Center!
Dr. Trent received his initial acupuncture license in 2000 through the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture with a focus on TCM (traditional Chinese medicine). From 2012-2014 he took additional training in acupuncture. In 2014, he received his diplomat status in Chiropractic Acupuncture through the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture. He was the 96th chiropractor to receive this status in the Nation.
When Dr. Trent isn’t in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kourtney, and two boys Julian and Edison. He is an avid Iowa State Cyclone, Chicago Cubs, and Minnesota Vikings fan. He enjoys golfing (and observing different flight patterns of his golf balls), going to sporting events, and riding his motorcycle.
